RHONY star Ubah Hassan responds to Bethenny Frankel’s criticism of the show
While attending Bravo Fan Fest in Miami, Real Housewives of New York star Ubah Hassan had the chance to respond to Bethenny Frankel’s recent criticism of the reboot of the show. Frankel, who starred on the show from seasons one to three and subsequently seven to eleven, recently posted - then deleted, a Tik Tok video in which she labelled the reboot “trash”. When asked about it at Fan Fest by Lauren Herbert, Hassan simply responded “sit down, eat your chicken (salad) and watch the show, and THEN tell us you don’t like it”. She also said, “she’s loud noise”. Frankel admitted she hadn’t watched the show, and it’s clear that Hassan thinks that she needs to change that before adding her two cents.

On November 2, Teddi Mellencamp took to her instagram account to announce that she was filing for divorce from her husband of thirteen years, Edwin Arroyave. Shortly after, rumours started swirling regarding the cause of the breakup of their marriage. Yesterday, the Daily Mail reported that Teddi had been having a months long affair with her married horse trainer, Simon Schroeder. Crystal Kung Minkoff reveals why she was let go from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Crystal Kung Minkoff took to her podcast “Humble Brag” today to reveal the details behind her firing from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills earlier this year. Kung Minkoff said that fellow cast members Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais were already in pre production when she got the call with the bad news. She thought she was moving forward to start the show, and had start dates in place. She then had a call with producers regarding what her season would look like, something she hadn’t had to do before. She knew this was probably not a good sign. She felt like what they had wanted to do was “stretching the truth for (her) to make a story that didn’t really make sense”. She was concerned that it would become her reality once the show aired, but she didn’t discuss exactly what it was that they wanted her to do. She described it as that they had asked her to “embellish her life in a way that felt unnatural”. The next day she got a call stating from a prouducer saying that she had been in the conversation the day before but they were not going to have her on the cast this season. Kung Minkoff said that she is very protective of the show and grateful for it, and is reluctant to give all of the information. She thinks it’s a great platform for people and would go back.

RHOC’s Tamra Judge announces that she had her first therapy session, and received a diagnosis
On today’s episode of Two Ts in a Pod, host Tamra Judge announced that she had her first therapy session, where she was diagnosed as on the spectrum. The term “spectrum” refers to Autism Spectrum Disorder, or ASD. Speaking to cohost Teddi Mellencamp, Judge became very emotional as she described that she has a really hard time processing things, and a lot of “sensory issues, sound, light, touch”, and that her biggest problem is working through the traumas she has had in her life. Judge said she thought she grew up in a family that didn’t have a lot of empathy or love, and that she was just a person who saw things in black and white. She said she has always had a hard time with emotions and empathy, and “feeling other people’s feelings”.

Lisa Barlow appeared on Sheananigans today, and was asked by host Scheana Shay if she stays in touch with former castmate Jen Shah, who is currently serving a six and a half year prison sentence for running a nationwide telemarketing scheme that targeted elderly victims. Barlow said that Shah told Murilo (Shah’s former assistant”, that when she “gets out of prison she would like to have a relationship with me and Meredith”.
Real Housewives of New York star Jenna Lyons on why she decided to return to for a second season
The stars of the Real Housewives of New York appeared together on The Today Show this morning, and Jenna Lyons was asked about her indecision to return to the show for a second season. Speaking about her time on the show during season fourteen, she stated that she was “the oldest one last year - I was fifteen years older than any of the cast”. She also discussed how she was the only openly gay cast member to appear last season.
