RHONY star Erin Lichy says baby number four was a “surprise”
Real Housewives of New York star Erin Lichy was on Jeff Lewis Has Issues yesterday, and got to talking about her recent announcement that she is expecting baby number four with husband Abe. Jeff asked if the baby was planned or an accident, and Erin said it was a “surprise”, but that she’s grateful. Jeff asked for all the details, and Erin said the baby was conceived during a very fun trip to Aspen back in the summer. They were going out every night, having a lot of cocktails, and things happened. Erin said she is currently five months into the pregnancy. She didn’t find out until the middle of August, when she realized everything and everyone were annoying her and she couldn’t stand the taste or smell of alcohol.
Jeff asked if she cried when she found out and she said no, and that “its a blessing and she’s very very grateful”, and that they are excited. Her and Abe both grew up with big families in the city, so they will remain in New York. Jeff said Abe needs get a vasectomy, but Erin says he refuses. He jokingly said its the only power he has in life. Based off of how far along Erin is, the baby’s due date should be sometime in March, which is when the second season of RHONY began filming this year. No word on if Erin’s pregnancy will be shown during the filming of season three or when/if it will begin. On Tuesday’s episode of RHONY, Erin shared a very powerful moment with her father, who passed away five months after filming the scene. In an Instagram story shortly after her pregnancy announcement Erin said “Been a rollercoaster past few months to say the least, but so happy my dad knew about this”, meaning she had a chance to tell him about the new baby before he passed. New episodes of RHONY air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
