Love is Blind Season 5 cast member Izzy Zapata took to The Viall Files on Thursday for a mid-season interview in which he discussed the explosive confrontation that occurred between him and former flame Johnie Maraist in episode 7. Viewers will recall that Izzy was Johnie’s number one choice in the pods, however, he went with his number one choice Stacy and chose to end things with Johnie. Johnie arrived at a cast bbq during the episode and announced that she is now dating her pod second choice, Chris Fox.

Love is Blind Season 5’s Uche Okoroha took to his instagram stories today to clear up some tricky editing on the part of producers in episode seven. When asked by a follower why he broke up with Aaliyah at their meeting, he responded “the ‘its over between us’ is a post production sound byte. At lunch we both forgave each other, we held hands and shared our first kiss. Then we agreed to date outside of the show.”

The pods are open….and they stayed open! The first four episodes of this round of Love is Blind have dropped and we still haven’t picked our jaws up off of the floor! As promised we had more drama, more pod time, more shocking revelations, and more love triangles! We really liked the extra time to get to know all (or most) of the cast, and the deeper dive into their connections, including the ones that didn’t quite pan out.

The answer is a resounding.. YES!! The Netflix world is buzzing with anticipation over the drop of the fifth instalment of Love is Blind in just a few short hours. Will we have a multitude of beautiful love stories
