Too Hot To Handle’s Seb Melrose and Kayla Richart have broken up
Viewers fell in love with Seb and Kayla on the fourth instalment of Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle, which aired back in December of 2022. Sadly, the two have now gone their separate ways. Kayla took to her Tik Tok account to give us all the tea on what went down, and how Love Is Blind/Perfect Match’s Micah Lussier is involved. The first video is linked here, and we’re breaking it down for you as well:
Seb told Kayla that he was approached by a new PR agency and that they set him up to attend New York Fashion week. Kayla came to find out that Seb was “Micah’s plus one to absolutely everything” during New York Fashion Week. Micah paid for a stylist and let Seb use the stylist. This is why they were sitting next to each other at every event, and in every photo and video together.
Seb went to Paris right before NYFW for what he said was a “car event” and took a selfie with an unnamed woman in front of the Eiffel Tower. Kayla stated to him on a phone call after seeing this that she would like his posts to remain respectful and that he doesn’t appear too close to Micah while attending NYFW. Seb also let Kayla know on this phone call that the PR agency would like him and Micah to do a podcast together, where Seb would be in a relationship and Micah would be going on dates and then talking about them with Seb. Kayla said she did not like this idea and drew a boundary.
Seb sends Kayla disrespectful messages stating that she isn’t happy with her own career and insecure.
Seb allegedly tells Kayla to get on board or leave. He then proceeds to post multiple stories with Micah at NYFW, and video from a club in which Kayla has extracted audio from, that she claims to hear Seb say “you look sexy as f*ck, you like that”, in her opinion, but she cannot confirm.
Seb didn’t reach out to Kayla at all for the rest of NYFW. Kayla then reached out to Micah to let her know how she was feeling about the photos and videos and how she doesn’t feel comfortable. Micah responds with a message calling Kayla insecure and saying it is a work trip only, and she states that Seb is “a great guy, but not for me in that way”.
Kayla then unfollows Seb and Micah, and considers the relationship over. At this point, Micah decides to post a carousel on her Instagram feed including photos of Seb, appearing to be checking her out. Micah reposted the photos to her story and said “Family”, which Kayla says makes no sense because they didn’t know each other before the trip.
Seb then reposts a photo of a woman’s feet on his face. Kayla decides at this point to make some cryptic Tik Tok videos, and then Seb finally reaches out but she has no interest in speaking to him again.
