Everything Love Is Blind’s Jimmy and Chelsea said on The Viall Files
Love is Blind Season 6’s Jimmy and Chelsea both appeared by zoom on The Viall Files today, here’s a full breakdown of everything they said about each other:
Nick congratulates Chelsea on how well she has handled all of the criticism after the show
Chelsea thought she would be dragged for staying with Jimmy as long as she did so she was surprised at the audience reaction to the show
Chelsea says that her and Jimmy are just friends now and that there is absolutely nothing going on between them
They did try to date for four days after the show stopped filming. He said the pressure of the cameras had been too much. He cooked her dinner, took her to her first baseball game and they hooked up. Ultimately she realized nothing had changed and that it was not going to work.

Chelsea had previously told a story where Jimmy asked for space one night, went to stay at his own place, facetimed her from bed, and then accidentally butt dialled her and she heard that he was heading out partying with friends (including women). Chelsea said she has apologized for bringing this up but its her story to tell and she is being dragged on the internet.
Jimmy said that by that point he was checked out, needed space, said he had told Chelsea he would be saying no at the altar, and that he felt cornered.
Nick asks Jimmy can he just say that Chelsea was justified in how she acted and that we didn’t get to see some of the things that happened between them, and confirm that Chelsea isn’t “delulu” or crazy.
Jimmy can’t confirm this and asks at what other times did his actions not match his words. He also states that he did not view Chelsea as insecure.
Regarding the fight where Chelsea brought up Jimmy sleeping with a friend, he says Chelsea was weak and vulnerable in that moment, and that she had too many dirty martinis.
Chelsea said that she brought it up because there were no boundaries or respect being given to her.
Chelsea said she does have a friendship with an ex as well and that she facetimed him after they got engaged because she wanted Jimmy to meet him. He is married with a baby, lives in another state and she is not calling and texting him all the time.
Jimmy says he was fighting so hard for the relationship because he could see how much Chelsea loved him and that he communicated well whether she liked it or not.
Jimmy asks again when did his words and actions not align? Nick asks again can you say Chelsea was justified yes or no? still no answer.
Jimmy explains that he also had male friends on the show but that they chose to only highlight his female friends. He went to them for advice on the show because they watched it and he didn’t, they even helped pick all of his outfits.
Nick asks about Jimmy’s recent comments that he would date AD. Jimmy says it was more of a “never say never” comment. He was very close with AD during the process, she’s one of the coolest people ever, they are good friends but out of respect to Chelsea he would not date anyone else from the show.
Nick asks about the Megan Fox comment and Jimmy admits he also compared himself to a Wish/Walmart Christian McCaffrey, or a less muscled version. He is aware that his reaction is what caused all of the issues and that he was just having fun and “six beers deep”.
Jimmy says goodbye and is heading to a paid appearance at a pool party in Las Vegas.
Chelsea says Jimmy will die on the hill of saying “he went out one time” during filming even though he was out often. She has friends that know Jimmy from college and they were shocked that she picked him as he goes out often.
Nick says they clearly have mutual respect for one another. He says Jimmy doesn’t want to let go of his favourable edit. He says people like to take credit when they have a good edit but blame producers when they have a bad edit.
Chelsea says Nick is on the mark and she doesn’t want Jimmy to get the hate that she is and that he couldn’t handle it. She said he was not happy with her interview that she gave on Sarah Alysse’s podcast. She knows they have a friendship but she also has to speak her truth.
Chelsea said she put everything in her being into the experiment but that Jimmy wasnt ready for marriage.
After their four days of dating post-show, he called her and said this experiment has made me realize I don’t want a relationship at all.
Chelsea said she begged him twice to stay in the experiment and she will never beg another man again.
They had the best week the week before their breakup, she met his friends and he met her family. Walking into their breakup dinner they were choosing their wedding reception songs.
Nick says again that Chelsea has crushed the fallout from the show and it will pay dividends how well she has handled it and how gracious she’s been, and that Jimmy should take a few notes from her.
Nick felt like they had to pry anything good about Chelsea out of Jimmy, and he made excuses and explanations rather than accountability.
Chelsea says Jimmy was so worried about his edit, and she was preparing him how to navigate that. Chelsea thought there was nothing that she did that could give her a bad edit. She told her mom she was fine and she was her authentic self. She didn’t care about the cameras and Jimmy did.
