Uche Okoroha will not be attending the Love is Blind Season 5 reunion

Despite being one of the main characters (at least during the first half of the season) of the fifth instalment of Love is Blind, Uche Okoroha has confirmed that he will not be in attendance at the reunion on October 15. Uche was a guest on Miss Understood by Rachel on October 12, where he confirmed this as well as detailed his experience on Love is Blind. So without Uche’s presence at the reunion, what can we expect to go down? Netflix dropped a peek at the women’s gorgeous reunion looks on October 12, showing that Taylor, Stacy, Johnie, Aaliyah and Lydia will be in attendance. However they have remained mum on the names of the men attending. We can speculate that Milton and Izzy, the two men that made it to the altar, will of course be in attendance. Will JP be willing to show his face after his insensitive makeup comments? Hopefully he will make an appearance to provide some clarification, and communicate to both Taylor and the audience what he was attempting to say in Mexico.

The rest of the reunion is a little more up in the air. Johnie recently took to her Instagram stories to post a series of photos of her and Chris, with dates written on them for reference. We last saw Johnie and Chris during episode 8 (the BBQ scene), where they had announced that they were newly dating. However, social media sleuths have uncovered that Chris is now in a serious relationship, as well as Johnie, but not with each other. Will Chris be back to hash out the details of his split with Johnie? Given the lack of “main cast” this season, it would be a good assumption that, yes he will.

Another topic that may be addressed during the reunion is a bombshell revelation that Uche hinted at in his aforementioned interview. He stated that Izzy had re-entered Johnie’s life after filming. In what capacity, he did not elaborate on, but given that he mentioned warning Johnie how Izzy had treated her at the BBQ, it is possible it was more than just a friendly reuniting. Izzy’s ex fiancé Stacy is already not too keen on Johnie, so we can imagine that would lead to some interesting reunion discussions. The biggest question mark of all is, who will be hosting? There was no mention of the Lacheys in the reunion promo, but it would be hard to imagine a Love is Blind reunion without them.
