Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt claims she had Demi’s permission to share fruity pebbles story

Secret Lives’ cast member Whitney Leavitt made her first podcast appearance on The Squeeze last night, and she shared her side of some of the most controversial scenes of the season. Addressing the “fruity pebbles incident”, Whitney states that she “had called Demi ahead of time asking if it was okay”, and that Demi and her husband thought it was funny and were okay with it. Whitney says she felt “sabotaged” after Demi then became offended while filming, and wondered if it was a decision that Demi made to make her look bad on purpose. Demi has yet to respond to Whitney’s claims.

Whitney also addressed the time gap between the filming of the pilot and the rest of the season, stating that it was a two year break between filming episode one and the rest of the season, hence the different hairstyles. When asked about the fate of season two, Whitney says “we will have to wait and see”. Check out Whitney’s full interview on The Squeeze for more behind the scenes tea!
